Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information Johnitem Floor Coating ("we", "us") gathers through johnitem.homes, through calls to the phone number shown here and through the forms on the site. It also explains how that information is used. It is a general template and not legal advice.

Details You Give Us

When you call or send a form, you may share your name, phone number, email address, location and some notes about your floor coating project.

Details Collected as You Browse

Some information is picked up automatically. This includes your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you open and the time of your visit. Calls placed through the number on this site may be logged and sometimes recorded for quality control and billing.

How We Use Your Information

We use what we collect to:

• Connect you with an independent floor coating installer in your area
• Pass your request details to that installer so they can follow up
• Answer your questions and emails
• Learn how people use this site and our phone lines
• Improve the site and the service
• Meet legal duties and guard against fraud

Who Receives Your Information

Johnitem Floor Coating is a referral service. That means we send your contact and project details to one or more independent installers or marketing partners so they can reach you. These are separate businesses, and each follows its own privacy practices.

We also use vendors that help run the site and phone lines. Examples are hosting, analytics and call-tracking companies, and they may handle some data for us. We may share information when the law requires it or when we need to defend our rights.

We never sell your personal information for money. In some places, sharing data with marketing partners counts as a sale or share under the law. If that applies to you, you may have a right to opt out.

Cookies

The site may use cookies and similar tools to understand how visits go. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as smoothly without them.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to see, correct or delete your personal information, or opt out of certain sharing. Send any request to contact@johnitem.homes. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on it.

Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, though, so we cannot promise complete protection. We keep data only as long as the purposes above need or the law requires.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Check the date at the top to see which version is current.
